Primary Responsibilities
Develop complete understanding of contract plans and specifications, verifying the material requirements and ensuring that materials are being installed correctly.
Develop and maintain schedules, collaborating with field staff to obtain work activity updates.
Write requisitions and purchase orders and follow up with suppliers to coordinate deliveries.
Receive and log drawings and contract documents and maintain document control.
Create change orders and other scope of work adjustments.
Identify workplace safety hazards and take corrective actions.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management or similar area of study.
Two or more years’ experience in construction, fabrication or related engineering.

Working Conditions
Fast-paced office and equipment / shop facility environment.
Must be able to interact professionally with craft, staff and management while simultaneously managing a diversified workload and challenging situations efficiently and effectively.
Occasionally lift, climb and move up objects up to 50 pounds. Travel possible as project needs dictate.
