Position Overview

The NDE Coordinator will assist in the development and implementation of Non-Destructive Evaluation (NDE) applications for use in the field, and will assist in set up and calibration of equipment. You will also conduct tests using the proper NDE methods and techniques, as well as review, evaluate and document any and all results.

This position is based on our project site in Orange, TX.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and implementation of Non Destructive Evaluation (NDE) applications for use in the field.
  • Set up and calibrate equipment.
  • Conduct tests using the proper NDT methods and techniques.
  • Review, evaluate, and document results.
  • Direct the work of trainees and Level I personnel.
  • Write procedures, which must be approved by a Level III technician.
  • When necessary, operate and maintain radiographic equipment.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures paying special attention to health and safety policies.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.

Qualifications

The successful candidate must have the aptitude for highly technical work. High School Diploma or GED is required. Must possess a valid Texas industrial safety radiation card or proof of a 40-hour radiation safety course.
