We are hiring a Tax Accountant 1 to work with our Corporate Tax team in our Omaha headquarters. In this role, you will be involved with Canadian income tax filings, audits, research and planning, and transfer pricing documentation. You may also be called upon to assist with U.S. International, Federal, and State tax compliance. This position is based in our headquarters office in Omaha, NE.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of Canadian Federal and Provincial returns
- Calculations for quarterly tax provisions and monthly installment payments
- Assist with income tax audits and field support
- Preparation of transfer pricing documentation
- Research and analysis of tax issues
- Completion of other assigned projects
- May include preparation of U.S. International, Federal, and State calculations and returns
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is required.
- Income tax experience preferred (internship or post college).
- Proven technical abilities, strong problem-solving and organizational skills, and detail oriented.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, income tax compliance and research software)
- Able to meet deadlines, handle multiple tasks, and work independently and as part of a team.
- Some travel may be required.
