Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Communication Specialist to join our technology Organizational Change Management (OCM) team. As a Communications Specialist, you will play a key role in executing strategic plans and developing communications and training materials to support organizational change efforts for technology initiatives. The successful candidate will possess exceptional attention to detail, be a self-starter, and have experience in communications.

Location

This position is located at 7700 Eastport Parkway, LaVista, NE. Work schedule is onsite Monday - Thursday with optional flexible Friday's.

Responsibilities

 
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand technology initiatives and organizational change efforts to develop comprehensive communication and training strategies.
-Conduct research and analysis to identify key communication and training opportunities and challenges and develop targeted strategies to address them.
-Create and execute strategic communication and training plans that effectively convey complex technical information and facilitate understanding and adoption among various stakeholders.
-Develop and deliver engaging and impactful communication materials, including presentations, emails, training tools and resources, and newsletter and SharePoint content.
-Ensure consistency and accuracy in messaging across all communication channels.
-Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of communication and training strategies and make recommendations for improvement.
-Provide guidance and support to project teams on communication and training best practices and tactics.
-Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in technology communications, training and change management.

Qualifications

-Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
-Minimum of 2 years experience in communications and/or training
-A portfolio of recent work is required.
-Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce error-free communications materials.
-Proven track record of developing and executing successful communication strategies.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively tailor messages to different audiences.
-Strong listening skills
-Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
-Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
-Familiarity with change management principles and practices is a plus.
-Proficiency in using communication tools and platforms, such as Microsoft Office and SharePoint.
-Effectively work with other team members at all levels to achieve the desired objectives.
