Position Overview
Kiewit is looking for a business analysis strategist to lead our business analysis & design efforts focused on designing intuitive, quality products through collaboration with product owners, developers, and other stakeholders. The position requires a pragmatic leader with a process and data-first approach to design and acts as a champion for the customer and team. The ideal candidate will have thorough understanding of requirements elicitation strategies, process modeling, facilitation, enterprise software, and working with complex business problems. The Analysis & Design Center of Excellence is staffed with business/technology experts, who can act as a central point of contact to facilitate collaboration among the lines of business and the IT groups.

Responsibilities
• Benefits Management – continuous process of identifying new opportunities, envisioning results, implementing, checking intermediate results, and dynamically adjusting the path leading from investments to business results.
• Process improvements / opportunities – Improves and influences changes in process and procedures within team based on fundamental knowledge of service area.
• Role/Responsibility Definition – Develop a rapport, influence leaders across the organization, and build an approachable and inclusive environment. Establish consistent expectations for Business Analysts and Product Owners throughout the organization, without having direct report relationship. Ensure discipline resources both understand their roles / responsibilities and how they will be measured.
• Communications – Conduit for the dissemination of company and department related information to matrixed roles and how it will impact the team and/or business. Ensures appropriate and timely communication of work progress to all levels of the organization.
• Resource development – provide thought leadership and development of organizational resources for all initiatives to maintain the organization's business analysis standards
• Performance management – Articulates clear performance goals for roles within the BA discipline and provide frequent performance measurement feedback. Leads and influences to ensure consistent service and seamless execution throughout the organization. Conducts critical conversations as needed, holds team members accountable.
• Conduct feasibility studies and prepare business cases for proposed new projects.
• Participate in all strategic initiatives by providing expert business analysis resources and knowledge.
• Service management - Provides service level direction and communications, including a clear and compelling vision for the future and KPIs/Metrics to measure success.
Qualifications
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a management or mentorship role, preferred
• Minimum five (5) years as a business or system analyst or a related technology role
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field

Base Compensation: $119,000/yr - $125,000/yr
(Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and/or location)
