Position Overview

As part of a project badging administrator for Kiewit, you will provide critical administrative coordination and onboarding support to members of a specific project. This person should be motivated, possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and be proficient in various software systems such as MS Word, Teams, Excel, Share Point, and others.

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of administrative experience preferred.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook.
  • Strong professional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to take direction and provide timely feedback on progress of tasks.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and active listening skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. 
  • Ability to work from 7:00 am – 4:00 pm, with occasional varying schedules in support of site operational needs. 

Responsibilities

  • Point of contact for dispatch coordination with Project team, Union Halls and site badging office.
  • Coordination throughout the hiring process with project team, new hire and site administrator/badging office.
  • Point of contact for visitor site badging requests
  • Coordinates delivery of site material and entry into project site, including badging requests
  • Set up and conduct weekly craft orientations to lead an efficient on-boarding process, including paperwork, applications, documentation and maintaining employment files
  • Complete I-9s for craft hires and staff transfers (as applicable). Assists with staff new hire onboarding processes, forms, and documentation.
  • Update HR and business reporting on an ongoing basis as it relates to hiring
  • Manages Form I-9 and E-Verify processes for all US new staff hires while ensuring compliance with employment authorization requirements.
  • Completes other administrative functions as needed for the project. #LI-LH1
