Position Overview

Kiewit Infrastructure Co. is seeking a Sr. Scheduling Analyst based out of its Woodcliff Lake, NJ office. We are looking for the ideal candidate to perform planning & scheduling activities on a variety of infrastructure projects. This hands-on role will give you the opportunity to directly impact the scheduling outcome, from estimate through project completions, over a broad range of projects. By analyzing, monitoring and maintaining the projects’ progress, you’ll prepare and analyze reports, develop alternative solutions, and be a key team member in driving  successful project completion.

You will be part of Kiewit’s Eastern District, which specializes in challenging infrastructure construction projects throughout the Northeast, including the metropolitan areas of New York, Chicago, Boston, and Washington DC.  We are leaders in bridge, transit, foundation, tunnel, and water/wastewater construction while specializing in cast-in-place concrete, structural steel erection, earthwork, pile driving, and caissons. Kiewit’s Eastern District also has a large amount of work in the energy/power sector in various northeast locations. With our experienced and dedicated employees, extensive resources and in-depth market knowledge, the Eastern District can handle projects of any size.

Location

This position can be in Chicago, IL or Woodcliff Lake, NJ.

Responsibilities


•    Develop resource loaded schedules, including lists of activities, major milestones, critical approvals, long lead procurement items and other critical project deliverables to be scheduled and tracked for the projects
•    Develop schedule logic and constraints, realistic activity durations and available manpower and resources
•    Provide scheduling analysis for delays and impacts to identify and mitigate project risk.
•    Manage internal controls including implementing process controls, measuring projects’ performance, reporting on projects’ status, and ensuring the integrity and validity of internally and externally disseminated information.
•    Apply knowledge of engineering, procurement, and construction terminology and concepts to develop and maintain critic path logic networks; accumulate and access historical data for use in maintaining realistic future planning and forecasting
•    Provide guidance, direction, and specialized assistance for the resolution of difficult project control problems. May interface with clients, attend regular meetings and give statistical reports

Qualifications

•    5+ years’ experience in Primavera (P6) Scheduling preferred
•    Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Construction Management (technical training and related experience may be considered in lieu of)
•    Understanding of Earned Value Management System 
•    Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
•    Computer proficient and the ability to adapt to new innovations and processes
•    Strong written and verbal communications skills
•    Demonstrated work ethic
•    The ability to freely access all points of a construction site in wide-ranging climates and environment
•    Excellent time management and organizational skills.
•    Occasional extended assignments at other sites are possible
