Position Overview

As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for project construction's administrative and technical aspects, overseeing a team of field and cost engineers. Do you have strong interpersonal and information management skills? In this role, you will serve as the primary liaison between the construction manager and the team regarding cost, revenue, and cash flow. Are you skilled in mentorship? District Overview

Kiewit's Water Facilities South group is one of Kiewit's leading water/wastewater districts specializing in constructing water treatment facilities, wastewater treatment facilities, and desalination plants. Although we are headquartered in Dallas TX, with regional offices in Miami FL and Atlanta GA, we also pursue various projects stretching across the country. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about infrastructure and committed to the construction industry as opposed to design. Responsibilities

• Perform scheduling of the project
• Revenue, cost, and cash flow management
• Temp engineering
• Permanent design management and quality control
• Project closeout
• Client relations
• Assist in Operations planning
• Administer contracts and subcontracts

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or a related field.
  • Over 5 years of experience in construction or engineering roles.
  • Proven experience in managing engineering teams.
  • Proficient in reading, analyzing, and identifying discrepancies in engineering plans, specifications, and contract documents.
  • Highly motivated with a strong passion for excellence and initiative.
  • Strong work ethic, committed to getting the job done right the first time.
  • Demonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity.
  • Passionate about safety, dedicated to ensuring a safe work environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Team player who can work independently to meet deadlines, goals, and objectives.
  • Strong organizational skills, with effective time management and attention to detail.
