The Job Superintendent reports to the Project Manager. The Job Superintendent has responsibility for all construction field operations required for a safe and on time delivery of wind turbine projects ranging in size from 150 to 350 MW’s.  Typical duties will include but not limited to supervising craft personnel; scheduling and directing work crews, preparing work plans, assuring quality control, managing and tracking costs and materials, scheduling equipment, administering safety programs and maintaining exceptional owner relations.

• Must possess a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Wind Turbine Construction.
• Must possess a minimum of 10 years’ overall experience in similar type of construction related positions that provides the knowledge and experience required for this position.
• Experience with GE and/or Vestas wind turbine construction.
• Must have experience with managing large cranes up to 1000T and excel in planning safe and successful complex crane picks and crane mobility plans.
• Ability to freely access all points of a construction site in wide-ranging climates and environment.
• Knowledge of construction safety and current federal and OSHA requirements.
• Broad knowledge of engineering and construction methods.
• Working knowledge of computers is desirable.
• Ability to travel based on business needs.
