District Overview
Kiewit’s Northwest District is headquartered in Vancouver, Washington. We primarily perform heavy civil projects specializing in earth moving, transportation, roadways, water resources, and underground utilities. We are looking for hard working individuals with a passion for construction who aren’t afraid to get their hands dirty! Our current opportunities are spread across the entire west coast including Alaska and Hawaii.

Responsibilities
1. Maintain/update office seating chart and phone list
2. Answer phone - direct calls to proper person/department
3. Track equipment inventory (Cars/trucks/van pool cars)
4. Maintain office supply inventory -Staples office supply orders
5. Mail/FedEx/UPS - Prepare Shipments going out/Distribute incoming mail
6. Maintain keyfobs for employees
7. Coordinate w/ Janitorial, Building Maintenance, Coffee Service & Shred-it
10. Konica copier maintenance and supplies
11. Cubicle, phone, office setup & cleaning
12. Distribute mail, packages other employee items
13. Schedule conference rooms
14. Keep conference room & kitchen area clear and organized
15. Schedule Catering for Meetings
16. Data entry & Doc Control for Safety and Business Departments
17. Other department special projects as needed
Qualifications
- Prior administrative support experience preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Solid skills with peripheral technology such as printers, digital cameras, scanners and A/V equipment
- Previous track record of successfully meeting deadlines and project expectations
- Ability to work with people at all levels of the organization, including senior leadership, as needed
- Outstanding attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Excellent ability to multitask
- Ability to maintain strict confidence of important, sensitive information and materials
- Enthusiastic team player with an interest in helping the team stay connected and working effectively together
