Position Overview
We are currently seeking Drill Rig Operators to work on projects that are improving communities all across Western Canada.  In this role, you will be responsible for driving production with a 100% commitment safety and quality.

Responsibilities
• Perform pre-operational inspections and safety checks
• Operate >270kNm   Drill rig including maintenance, and troubleshooting
• Maintain a clean working environment
• Ensure all paper work is completed accurately and on time
• Demonstrate a high level of safety leadership by ensuring safety is at forefront of all work practices
• Comply with all company and regulatory standards and policies
• May perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications
• Commitment to safety, ethical practices, quality and production
• Kelly bar rotary drilling experience
• Must possess and maintain valid driver’s licenses and a satisfactory driver abstract
• Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for excellence and taking initiative
• Strong work ethic, willing to do what it takes to get the job done right the first time
• Demonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity
• Passion for safety, with the ability to help us ensure that nobody gets hurt
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

• Ability to freely access all points of a construction site in wide-ranging climates and environment
• Ability to travel and relocate as business requires
• Legally entitled to work in Canada

Physical Requirements   While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to move freely about an active construction site, as well as being able to sit, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.  The employee is continuously required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.  The employee should be willing to freely access all points of a construction site in a wide range of climates and conditions.

Mental Requirements   The employee should have the ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals and plans. The employee should be able to write reports and correspondence.  The employee should have the ability to respond to questions from managers and employees.  The employee should be able to work with mathematical concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. The employee should have the ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Working Environment   Work is performed in a variety of locations and conditions.  Work is commonly done at heights, over uneven terrain and in inclement weather. The noise level in the work environment can be loud to extremely loud. Work hours may include starting early or staying late or alternate shifts, as required to process urgent workload.
