Position Overview
Possessing prior experience within the construction industry, the Finance Manager is responsible for all aspects of project operational and financial reporting, including cost analysis and day-to-day interface with project management, client, and contractor personnel.
District Overview
Kiewit's Southeast District is one of Kiewit's leading infrastructure districts specializing in heavy civil, transportation, and water resource markets. Projects you could be working on could include building bridges, airports, mass transit systems, canals, dams, pump stations or tunnels. Although most of our work is regionally based in the southeast region of the United States, we also pursue various projects stretching across the east coast. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about infrastructure and committed to the construction industry instead of design.

Responsibilities
• Must articulate and summarize information and results to executive management. Accountable for cash management and forecasting.
• Accountable for the preparation and completion of internal audits.
• Provide leadership and coaching to business and administration staff, assisting with development plans and performance evaluations.
• Involvement in our compliance programs, including regulations and accounting policies.
• Maintain records as required regarding job progress, costs, and tracking of change orders.
• Responsible for client billing and revenue collection.
• Perform other duties as required by leadership.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in the Construction Industry.
• Excellent oral, written, interpersonal, and presentation communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive.
• Confident, articulate, and professional speaking abilities and experience speaking in public, to groups, or via electronic media.
• Proficient with the Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to think strategically while identifying problems and developing creative solutions.
• Ability to summarize information and communicate results to executive management.
• Have the ability to build relationships and communicate across matrix organizations.
• Candidates must also be able and willing to relocate and/or travel with business needs.
