Business Administrative Assistant

Position Overview

As a Administrative Support Professional, you will support the Mine business staff in areas of timekeeping, payroll and related tasks

Location

This position will be based at our mining operation outside of Soda Springs, ID.

Responsibilities
  • Performs basic clerical functions at project site, which include filing, data entry and compiling reports, inclusive of the following tasks:
    • Timecard tracking and input daily for employees
    • Process weekly payroll employees
    • Print and package weekly pay checks and pay advices for distribution to employees
    • Produce payroll-related reports as required for management
    • Work closely with corporate payroll to ensure payroll transactions are processed accurately and in accordance with government agencies and internal policies.
    • Respond to employee inquiries and assist employees with necessary forms for personal information changes.
    • Vacation and sick leave tracking/reporting
    • Process formalities for new employees and terminations
    • Other duties as requested or assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED and at least three-years of similar office/clerical experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organization and time-management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of SAP-ERP software system, is preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Knowledge of payroll and committed cost procedures
  • Knowledge of filing and record retention systems
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Willingness and ability to work more than eight (8) hours per day when necessary
