Position Overview
As a Senior Quality Technician, you will support team members in their roles as a program focal point for quality assurance, acting as a liaison with other functional departments.
District Overview
Kiewit’s Southern California District is one of Kiewit’s leading infrastructure districts specializing in heavy civil projects that include earth moving, water/wastewater, transportation, roadways, and power projects. Most of our work is concentrated in the Southern California region.
Location
This position will be based at a project in our Southern California region.
Responsibilities

Support team members in their roles as a program focal point for quality assurance, acting as a liaison with other functional departments.

Interact professionally with all levels of management while simultaneously managing a diversified workload and challenging situations efficiently and effectively

Develop a thorough understanding of the project scope and schedule as they relate to his/her specific assignment.

Examine/inspect field conditions and identify problems.

Assist with identifying and reporting rework and non-conforming issue.
Qualifications
-
Associate degree in engineering technology or science plus four years’ experience in a related construction field (at least one of these years in a QA/QC position) or a high school graduate or equivalent (GED) plus four years’ experience in a related construction field (at least two of these years in a QA/QC position)

Tech Savvy, proficient in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint

• Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies.
• Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required.

Base Compensation: $53,000 - $90,000
(Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and/or location)
