Position Overview

We have a great opportunity for a Research Intelligence Analyst to help us research and analyze information to provide accurate and timely data-driven insights to support our business development group. In this role, you will be required to support the business intelligence team in researching complex topics, analyzing the information, and supporting the preparation of reports. This position requires the ability to juggle competing priorities while delivering results, extremely high level of attention to detail, and the ability to work well with a team while also exercising the ability to stay self motivated and work autonomously.

District Overview

Kiewit Infrastructure Engineering's Design-Build team is driving clients to turn to Kiewit during all stages of design-build projects. Through our integrated design and construction approach, our multi-disciplinary team works together to improve schedule, control costs and minimize risk. Our construction-focused engineers work collaboratively with our estimators and builders to design solutions that are innovative, constructible, and designed with a focus on safety. Clients benefit from the proven processes and tools used by Kiewit to minimize project risk. We are an in-house resource that supports projects throughout the company. Our staff shares experiences gained, innovative concepts, and best practices for all projects that we support.

This position can be based Remotely.
This position will require up to 25% travel, for team, client & district meetings. 


Market Analysis:

  • Support market analysis and preparation of reports – research and analyze different types of information. Prepare findings, visualizing data graphically and translating complex findings into abbreviated written text.

Analysis Areas include:

  • Local / state government markets – rail/transit, road, bridges, aviation
  • New/emerging markets 



  • Monitor and capture relevant funding and legislation information as it becomes available

Analysis Areas include:

  • Federal, State, Local funding - formula, grants, debt, etc.
  • Delivery Method Legislation – federal/state related rules & regulations



  • Support research and analyses of requests related to client and competitors 
  • Competitor data includes projects, wins/losses, and financial situation, litigations, news, SWOT analysis
  • Support the maintenance of quality competitive data through CRM and manual data sources
  • Client data includes delivery method preferences, budgets, and projects.


Other Responsibilities:

  • Follows and implements proper internal controls
  • Earns trust and credibility by impeccable quality control of deliverables 
  • Displays first-rate customer service skills - willing to help with a positive attitude when/where needed, and be helped with gratitude


  • 5+ years of working experience with research and analysis
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Attention to detail and highest levels of quality control is a requirement of this role
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Powerpoint, Excel, Word, Teams)
  • Effective communication (both oral and written), organization and interpersonal skills
  • Strong work ethic
  • Proven ability to produce high quality results
  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
  • High level of professionalism and standards – ability to accept and implement feedback
  • Ability to work in the United States without sponsorship, both now and in the future

•    Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies.
•    Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required.

Base Compensation: $70,000 - $85,000 
(Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and/or location)
