Position Overview

A a Receptionist, you will provide administrative support for the Southeast District.  You will have the opportunity to be the face of Kiewit by greeting & taking care of our customers, clients, and employees.

District Overview

Kiewit's Southeast District specializes in heavy civil, transportation and water resource markets, and has played a significant role in building infrastructure throughout the fast-growing southeastern United States. Since the 1970s, we have built projects from Maryland to Florida and west to Louisiana. Our operations include highways, airports, mass transit, tunnels, water and wastewater facilities, dams and infrastructure work.

The Southeast District Office is in Peachtree City, GA.

Responsibilities

  • Greet clients and visitors at reception, announce and direct them
  • Answer and properly route incoming phone calls
  • Perform administrative duties
  • Order office supplies and monitor inventory
  • Receive and sort incoming mail and deliveries, and manage outgoing mail
  • Maintain various group email rosters, office seating assignment drawings, and current phone listings
  • Submit service tickets for building and office machine repairs as needed.  Confirm repairs are complete and follow up when appropriate
  • Assist with meeting coordination including meal catering, room set up and clean up
  • Maintain contact list and calendars in Outlook
  • Arrange and coordinate travel schedules and reservations
  • Maintain various logs, reports and templates

Qualifications

  • Highly motivated, self-starting and self-directed
  • Knowledge of general receptionist duties
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to multi-task, work independently and as a part of multiple teams
  • Ability to manage a variety of technically challenging tasks effectively
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to solve unique problems with creative solutions
  • Must be able to develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize and accomplish work efficiently
  • Demonstrated initiative with commitment and ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while still maintaining high quality standards
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with proven ability to present information both to technical and non-technical customers/stakeholders, in appropriate media and form
