Position Overview: The Kiewit Technology Group (KTG) Technical Documentation Specialist is an entry level role within the Project Delivery Team. This role is required to produce high-quality documentation that contributes to the overall success and adoption of the tools supporting the Project Lifecycle. This includes detailed documentation of quick guides for the Project Delivery group.

Location: 12720 I Street, Omaha, NE 68137

• Work on the Project Delivery team to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product roadmap and the documentation requirements.
• Produce high-quality documentation that supports self-directed learning among KTG employees.
• Train and guide end user resources as needed.
• Update and maintain documentation on Project Delivery process improvements and process standardization.
• Work with product and process subject matter experts to gather and document current state information.
• Develop screenshots and conceptual graphics as required to illustrate procedures, concepts, and other information related to process change.
• Architect and maintain a scalable documentation structure that fully utilizes the documentation tools available.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with documentation and good writing skills.
• Change management skills to include the practical implementation of new-to-Kiewit principles and concepts.
• Basic understanding of Microsoft tools including SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint. Experience with MS Project a plus.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to organize and plan use of time effectively and efficiently.
• Understanding of Agile methodology/SDLC and tools (e.g. VSTS).
• Expert knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of word, rules of composition, and grammar.
• Self-starter with ability to work in a fast-paced environment bringing new ideas and concepts into business.
• Flexible, able to embrace change and adaptable to new, challenging situations.
