Location

This position is based in our headquarters office in Omaha, NE. 

Responsibilities

•    Preparation of U.S. federal, state, and U.S. international tax filings (Forms 1065, 1120, 1118, 5471, 8858, and 8865). 
•    Preparation of Canadian federal and provincial income tax returns.
•    Computation of estimated tax payments.
•    Completion of assigned projects.
•    Monitor tax legislation.
•    Assist with income tax audits and field support.
•    Research and analysis of tax issues.
•    Interact with Kiewit Management and other financial departments, tax preparers and external auditors.

Qualifications

•    Bachelor's Degree in accounting is required.
•    Preference for income tax experience (internship or post college).
•    Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
•    Proven accounting/tax technical abilities, strong problem-solving skills, strong organizational skills and detail oriented.
•    Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, income tax compliance and research software).
•    Must be able to meet deadlines, juggle multiple tasks and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
•    Some travel may be required.
