Location

This position is based out of Kiewit's headquarters at 1550 Mike Fahey Street. This is a shared service center in a professional office setting.

Responsibilities

  • Review of U.S. federal and state workpapers and tax filings for Forms 1065 and 1120.
  • Review of calculations for quarterly tax provisions and estimated tax payments.
  • Completion of assigned projects.
  • Assist with income tax audits and field support.
  • Research and analysis of tax issues.
  • Monitor tax legislation and determine impacts to Kiewit.
  • Possible review of U.S. international and Canada tax returns.
  • Interact with Kiewit management, other financial departments, tax preparers and external auditors.
     

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is required.
  • Minimum of five years of public accounting or corporate income tax experience.  Review experience is preferred.
  • Proven technical abilities, strong problem-solving and organizational skills, and detail oriented.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, income tax compliance and research software) 
  • Able to meet deadlines, handle multiple tasks and work independently and as part of a team.
  • Some travel may be required.
