Position Overview

As a Technology Group Senior Basis Administrator, you will be responsible for installation, upgrade, configuration, maintenance, monitoring, and documentation of new and existing SAP-based systems both on-premise and in the cloud.This person should be a self starter that is motivated to ensure the performance and availability of SAP-based systems meets the needs of the business.

Location

This position will be based out of our Kiewit Business Center at 12720 I Street. This is a shared service center in a professional office setting.

Responsibilities

•    Troubleshoot and resolve system availability and performance issues reported by end users
•    Provide on-call support as assigned
•    Proactively monitor system health and take corrective action before problems occur
•    Mentor less experienced team members and help them learn about SAP technologies
•    Work with other teams for troubleshooting, capacity planning, and problem analysis/resolution
•    Perform system tuning for optimal performance
•    Review and approve detailed technical specifications for incidents, problems, and changes
•    Develop, document, and adhere to standard procedures and best practices
•    Identifying opportunities to reduce costs, improve efficiency, and improve performance
•    Ensure requirements are being met in accordance with corporate compliance
•    Ensure proper communication to all levels of the organization

Qualifications

•    Minimum of eight (8) years of Information Technology experience, with at least four (4) years SAP Basis Hands-on Technical experience
•    Product-specific hands-on experience with SAP systems including S/4 HANA, ECC 6.0, CRM 7.0, PO 7.5, IDM8, GRC 12.x, BW 7.5, LAMA 3.x, Business Objects 4.x, Information Steward and Data Services 4.x, and TREX 7.x
•    Experience applying support packs, enhancement packs, and add-on components
•    Experience configuring and maintaining SSO and SSL with internal and third parties
•    Experience configuring and maintaining SLD, STMS/CTS+, CCMS and Solution Manager
•    Practical experience interfacing to Third party technologies a plus
•    SAP Certification preferred
•    Ability to manage a variety of technically complicated tasks effectively
•    Demonstrated initiative with commitment and ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while still maintaining high quality standards
•    Outstanding interpersonal, communication and leadership skills; ability to motivate people, manage resources effectively and achieve set goals
•    Ability to clearly communicate and deliver expectations
•    A problem solver; can quickly assess a situation then develop and implement effective solutions
•    At least a Bachelor’s degree in an Information Technology discipline
