Position Overview

The Kiewit Technology Group (KTG) Sr. Analyst, SAP Materials Management serves as a trusted advisor to drive process and technology improvements that provide long-term value and benefits for our team, customers, and suppliers.  As a collaborative partner, the Sr Analyst will analyze current practices and processes to identify ways to improve productivity, reduce costs, eliminate risk, and make the best use of the organization’s resources.  Through a consultative approach, this critical position will enable the organization to successfully navigate through change management opportunities, while growing in sustainable and measurable ways to improve resiliency, adaptability, and maturity

This is a hybrid position and will be based out of Kiewit Business Center located at 12720 I Street, Omaha, NE 68137


  • Serve as a liaison between business and 3rd party consultants for requirement gathering sessions and drive business decisions to finalize SMART, JOVIX, SAP, and other product configuration and organization structures.
  • Translate business requirements to functional and technical specifications. Partner with stakeholders to drive product implementation – identify business needs, gather requirements, define use cases and pain points to streamline the implementation, and develop contingency processes to overcome operational challenges.
  • Facilitate workshops and focus group discussions to leverage cross-functional SME expertise and insight. 
  • Work closely with development teams and quality assurance teams to refine user stories and define acceptance criteria.
  • Analyze current Kiewit Technology Group processes and deliverables in order to identify opportunities to drive efficiency, enhance quality, promote mistake-proofing, and improve service levels. 
  • Support and enhance solutions around Catalog Management, Supplier Management and Procurement process involving 4000+ Requestors and 40,000+ Suppliers.
  • Perform data profiling and analysis of large supplier and Org datasets using advanced Excel and SQL techniques to perform data conversions.
  • Assist the GEP supplier enablement team in onboarding and setting up B2B and portal vendors.
  • Build solutions for the periodic flow of transactional data from 3rd party applications to an EDW so self-service reports can be built in PowerBI.
  • Develop business requirement documentation and conceptual models to illustrate workflows, procedures, concepts, and other information related to procurement and material management process.
  • Work closely with SAP’s MM and WM modules as they relate to configurations, and interfaces between existing and future applications.
  • Deliver clear concise stories using Agile methodologies to capture business requirements for projects.
  • Establish metrics to monitor the potential positive impact of an improvement’s operational efficiency. 


  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
  • SAP Certification in SAP S/4HANA Cloud - Supply Chain Management preferred
  • Knowledgeable of standard materials management methodologies and procedures.
  • Familiar with material 3rd party material management tools such as Jovix, Smart Materials, Nexxe and integration methods preferred
  • Strong facilitation abilities capable of leading workshops and focus group discussions 
  • Strategic and analytical mindset 
  • Keen eye for identifying enhancement opportunities and gaps to facilitate the completion of a thorough current state and root cause analysis 
  • Self-driven, detail-oriented leader who actively works to remove barriers to achieve results 
  • Experience with leading highly collaborative cross-functional teams towards a desired solution
