Position Overview
The Service Technician will have responsibilities for repair, imaging, configuration, and deployment of physical desktop and laptop devices. This position will be required to maintain physical inventory, escalate issues as they are encountered, and troubleshoot basic hardware issues on laptop and desktop PC’s. This position will report to the KTG Depot Manager within the Kiewit Technology Group Operations organization.

Location
This position is based in our La Vista, NE office and requires fulltime, in person attendance.
Responsibilities
• Follow all documented procedures related to PC imaging and repair.
• Identify and troubleshoot basic hardware issues.
• Manage, track, and reconcile inventory.
• Manage and prioritize multiple related projects, including troubleshooting, operations and maintenance.
• Attention to detail as it relates to software and hardware requests.
• Create and maintain technical and procedural standards documentation.
• Engage in appropriate escalation management activities.
• Pro-actively seek opportunities for continuous improvement within the team and department and act upon findings to initiate improvements, presenting ideas in a persuasive way to gain support.
• Maintain professional knowledge and skills through proactive self-study of relevant technologies and processes.
• Train peers to increase the skillset of the team.
Qualifications
• Highly motivated, self-starting and self-directed.
• Some experience with basic hardware repair tasks (Hard drive / RAM replacement).
• Experience with all Windows operating systems.
• Ability to multi-task, work independently and as a part of multiple teams.
• Demonstrated initiative with commitment and ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while still maintaining high quality standards.
