As a SAP Operations Manager you will direct, oversee and support the operations and financial aspects of our SAP environment and be part of a very strong team ensuring that systems, services, and infrastructure work reliably and securely. District Overview

Kiewit Technology Group’s (KTG) mission is to deliver project schedule and cost certainty by employing technology designed by and for the construction industry. Our team deploys apps to the field that increase profitability by maximizing the way we use our people and resources in daily operations. KTG uses the Kiewit Management System (KMS), which includes systems and tools that manage every part of Kiewit’s business and lifecycle of a project, to improve planning and day-to-day execution in the field by giving our people real-time data to make faster, smarter decisions. Information Technology is an integral partner and service provider at Kiewit.  We are a strong shared service team, with an SAP ERP system along with various IT Centers of Excellence.  Our vision is to be a best-in-class IT organization. 

Location

This position is based out of our Kiewit Business Center at 12720 I Street. This is a shared service center in a professional office setting. 

Responsibilities

•    Lead or directed teams daily, or project teams for system or software upgrades
•    Oversee a large staff and be accountable for SAP system stability and performance
•    Key participant or led Governance Functional Review Board or SAP CAB meetings
•    Lead for SAP CAB approval for all releases, changes, enhancements and defects
•    Point of contact for all SAP system landscape activities
•    Communicate system outages and critical changes to global community
•    Liaison with internal and external audit teams for SAP systems
•    Perform any SAP transport conflict analysis
•    Develop and implement policies and procedures
•    Point of contact for operational cutover manager for all platform project deployments
•    Coordinate infrastructure, basis, database and storage team activities for technical initiatives
•    Manage scheduled project and hyper care SAP releases
•    ITIL Software implementation lifecycle
•    Automation & Process Improvement 

Qualifications

•    10+ experience specializing or highly engaged with SAP change & release management, along with some knowledge of SAP software security and access management
•    Full accountability and responsibility for a multi-million-dollar budget
•    Planned, directed and implemented a migration from ECC to HANA
•    Experienced in managing multiple SAP technical/functional go-live implementations and version upgrade projects
•    Strong SAP technical knowledge of technologies and processes such as: High Availability, Disaster Recovery, Active Monitoring, Cloud & On-Prem Infrastructure, SAP Cloud Platform, Solution Manager, SAP PO, EDI, ABAP/SQL, Basis Admin, Transport / Change Management Tools
•    Strong SAP functional knowledge around SAP modules such as: S4 HANA, ECC-MM, SD, PS, PM, FI, CO, HCM, CRM Leads & Opportunity Management, Sales & Marketing, SAP Access Control (GRC), Success Factors
•    Vast understanding of SAP IT Change Control & Release Management, governance, processes and supporting tools, i.e. Service Now, ChaRM, TMS, CTS+, ITIL Release and Change Management, Data Analysis and Cross-Functional Initiatives
•    Good attention to detail, with the ability to recognize discrepancies
•    Team player with high energy and positive personality
•    Strong ethics that will reflect positively on the company
•    Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to establish credibility as a strong performer and ability to work effectively with people at all levels of Kiewit
•    A high level of intelligence, good listening skills, analytical problem solving, critical thinking, planning and organizing skills
•    Outgoing, takes charge, and thrives in a fast-paced and changing environment, with the ability to deal with and manage change
•    Bachelor of Science: Business Administration – Management Information Systems preferred or equivalent bachelor’s degree in program management, business or public administration, technical management, information systems, engineering, finance/accounting, or related fields
•    Minimum of 2 years of recent overall project management experience
•    Experience may be considered equivalent if experience demonstrated increased depth and breadth of responsibility
