Position Overview

The SQA Performance Analyst will work in a collaborative manner with Developers, Business Analysts, DBA's, Quality Assurance Analysts, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and Infrastructure teams to review the system performance SLA requirements and define test scenarios. The individual will participate in the implementation and execution of all aspects of the performance testing activities including planning, creation, execution and management of Performance Test Plan, Test Scenarios, Test Summary Reports and Defects. The SQA Performance Analyst will also be responsible for documenting test results and identifying and classifying performance issues as they relate to the testing activity.

Location

This position will be based out of our Kiewit Business Center at 12720 I Street. Omaha, NE. This is a shared service center in a professional office setting. 

Responsibilities

  • Support in creating best-in-class performance testing approaches and plans for enterprise-wide projects
  • Collaborate with the manual testing teams to identify and engage performance testing opportunities 
  • Define key performance indicators for performance tests
  • Support the organization’s performance goals providing innovative, effective, and efficient Performance Management practices and solutions
  • Work with project teams, infrastructure, and application development on performance monitoring and analysis
  • Drive improvements and maintenance of new and existing performance frameworks 
  • Gather and document performance testing requirements
  • Create, maintain, and execute test plans/cases against hardware and software platforms
  • Evaluate overall system capacity during end-to-end load tests
  • Coordinate with network, system, and server admins during performance testing
  • Enhance and extend the Performance library and framework
  • Create and execute test automation scripts and API testing using existing framework
  • Estimate test efforts
  • Analyze and communicate test results

Qualifications

  • BS degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent QA related experience 
  • Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience with test automation and performance testing using industry standard tools
  • Working knowledge of SAP preferred
  • Working knowledge of enterprise network level infrastructure 
  • Programming knowledge of HTML, VBScript, SQL, C#, Java, Python
  • Understanding of complex technology architectures
  • Knowledge of testing tools such as LoadRunner, NeoLoad, JMeter or equivalent
  • Test Automation experience using industry tools such as UFT, Tosca, TestComplete, or equivalent
  • Proven written/verbal communication skills, including the ability to lead technical discussions
  • Demonstrated knowledge in performance root-cause analysis
  • Experience in API testing using tools such as Postman, SoapUI, Swagger, or equivalent
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills 
  • Ability to present performance test results and impacts with stakeholders
