Position Overview

As a QA Analyst for our Kiewit Technology group you will perform complex testing tasks requiring planning, oversight and coordination with Project Teams. You will also be working within a delivery team, the QA Analyst communicates with the Product Owners, developers, business analysts and project managers to report software defects found in various products and manage resolution prior to go live. This position will report to the Quality Assurance Manager.  You will work with a very collaborative team and have the ability to grow within your role.  This position is located in Omaha, NE and is not a remote position.

This position will be based out of our Kiewit Business Center at 12720 I Street, Omaha, NE. This is a shared service center in a professional office setting. 


  • Defines test objectives, creates test plans, and develops manual test strategies
  • Experience writing and executing end to end test cases based on requirements
  • Communicates test status clearly to Management
  • Participates actively and influences quality on assigned teams
  • Follows guidelines for Testing, Release Management, Change Management and Software Development
  • Responsible for recognizing and creating awareness of process or quality problems
  • Review Business Requirements.  Analyze functional System Changes and Integration points
  • Execute functional, Integration and regression testing
  • Identify and record bug
  • Provide support and retesting during User Acceptance Testing
  • Work Collaboratively with Project Teams
  • Keep up to date with standards and requirements of software quality assurance best practices


  • B.S. in Computer Science or related field OR equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of practical Software Testing experience with Client/Server Applications
  • Preferred knowledge and/or experience with Standard Testing Toolsets, specifically Azure Dev-Ops
  • Experience with Agile teams
  • Programming knowledge of HTML and SQL is a plus
  • Experience with API testing a plus
  • Highly detail-oriented and comfortable with calculation-intensive activities
  • Solid experience with functional, integration and regression testing
  • Experience working in a team environment
  • Proven written/verbal communication skills
  • Excellent problem solving/troubleshooting skills
  • Demonstrate leadership skills
