District Overview

Kiewit Technology Group’s (KTG) mission is to deliver project schedule and cost certainty by employing technology designed by and for the construction industry. Our team deploys apps to the field that increase profitability by maximizing the way we use our people and resources in daily operations. KTG uses the Kiewit Management System (KMS), which includes systems and tools that manage every part of Kiewit’s business and lifecycle of a project, to improve planning and day-to-day execution in the field by giving our people real-time data to make faster, smarter decisions. This position is based out of our Kiewit Business Center at 12720 I Street. This is a shared service center in a professional office setting. 


•    Serve as the Kiewit Resource Planner application owner and administrator
•    Assist with defining the various Resource Planner product roadmaps
•    Work with the Product Manager to develop a long-term strategy for Resource Planner inclusive of cost, technology and the full life-cycle roadmap
•    Be aware-of and versed-in all product functionality supported by the respective product area
•    Serve as the primary point-of-contact for Resource Planner 
•    Be aware of how the business is utilizing applications and the underlying business problem they are solving with it
•    Communicate and maintain the product vision with all stakeholders
•    Work cross-functionally with other product teams to ensure decisions are in alignment with the overall portfolio strategy
•    Display first-rate customer service skills – willing to help with a positive attitude when/where needed
•    Partner and gain buy-in with stakeholders and users to create better cohesion and clear communication throughout the organization
•    Work with Product Owner and Product Manager to translate requirements into features and user stories (backlog) for a product release
•    Understand current business problems and opportunities and convey the needed information to Product and Support teams to drive solutions
•    Understand product adoption measurements and partners with Product Manager to drive a plan to address adoption constraints
•    Serve as a product spokesperson at meetings and events involving internal company stakeholders



•    3+ years of construction project experience or business analyst/product owner experience  
•    Ability to synthesize and articulate complex concepts targeted at multiple audiences
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•    Ability to travel approximately 20%-40% of the time
•    Experience with resource planning/forecasting software - preferred
•    Working knowledge of standard cost control methods utilized in the execution of various types of construction projects (EPC, Joint Venture, Lump Sum, time and Material) preferred
•    Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or computer science preferred
•    Experience working with geographically dispersed teams preferred
