We are hiring a Prevailing Wage Coordinator to join our growing Kiewit Business Services team in our Omaha Nebraska office. In this role, you will support the project teams by using Kiewit tools and technology to upload payroll reports and analyze differences between amounts paid to employees and the amounts legally required to be paid based on Prevailing Wage laws. You will monitor and ensure compliance for Kiewit, as well as our subcontractors to ensure state and federal laws governing prevailing wage are followed.
You will report to the Kiewit Business Services Compliance Supervisor and support all our Kiewit divisions for all states in which we operate.

Location
This position is based out of our Kiewit Business Center at 7700 Eastport Parkway, La Vista Nebraska. This is a shared service center in a professional office setting.
Responsibilities
Provide timely and accurate reports to meet the needs of teams.
Reconcile and troubleshoot certified payroll reporting errors.
Generate, format, and analyze reports out of SAP, Service Now, and other software applications.
Enter data via manual entry or upload to various software applications (LCPtracker).
Ensure applicable federal and state prevailing wage laws are properly applied.
Provide excellent customer service to all internal and external Kiewit departments.
Work with subcontractors to set up and maintain weekly submissions.
Support and participate in collaboration activities to promote and implement continuous process improvement.
Qualifications
Prefer experience with prevailing wage payroll laws, regulations, and Davis Bacon Acts
Proficient in Microsoft Office, with experience using advanced functions in Excel. Prefer experience with LCPTracker and SAP or similar software technologies
Ability to learn, interpret, and follow payroll laws, regulations, and procedures.
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to analyze data and recognize discrepancies.
Strong verbal and written communication skills; highly motivated and self-directed; initiative and a sense of urgency to get things done.
Ability to understand both functional and end-to-end processes and controls.
Excellent organization and time management skills; ability to develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish assigned work.
Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy with minimal supervision in a high-volume environment.
Excellent customer service and collaboration skills; ability to connect and build relationships with others inside and outside the organization.
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills; ability to use logic and reasoning to analyze and identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
