Position Overview
The Low-Code Platform Owner is responsible for strategy, planning and management of Kiewit’s Power Platform service offerings. The Platform Owner is the voice of the customer, representing internal stakeholders and the Platform Manager while driving prioritization of their backlog. The Platform Owner will solve business problems by analyzing business needs, understanding requirements, investigating potential solutions, ensuring the successful launch of new solutions/features, and managing the platform and services throughout their entire lifecycle. The ideal individual candidate will be able to facilitate discussions and lead the execution of tasks that help the organization provide best in class solutions supported by a solid foundation of governance and strategy.

Location
This is a hybrid position that is based out of our Kiewit Business Center at 12720 I Street Omaha, NE. This is a shared service center in a professional office setting.
Responsibilities
- Be a subject matter expert (SME) regarding the business processes and the capabilities/limitations of the low code platforms.
- Provide knowledge transfer to the appropriate technical support groups.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for platform stakeholders or functional super users.
- Work with the Platform Manager to develop a long-term strategy for the platforms and inclusive of cost, technology, and the full lifecycle roadmap.
- Partner with and gain buy-in from stakeholders and users to create cohesion and clear communication.
- Participate in platform and project meetings, serving as the voice of stakeholders and users.
- Communicate the business value of features and deliverables to various organizational levels.
- Lead and oversee the creation of end-user resources and marketing-type communications for and about the platform.
- Work with the Platform Manager to define platform roadmaps, defining the vision, direction, and opportunities for platform growth and enhancements.
- Work with the Platform Manager, Stakeholders, and Business Analysts to translate product ideas into requirements and prioritize features and user stories.
- Manage the backlog for assigned platforms and prioritize the release of new features with corresponding value proposition and strategy alignment.
- Manage and prioritize the feature backlog for assigned platforms to align with enterprise needs and objectives.
Qualifications
- 2-5 years’ experience in a development or development platform management role.
- Experience with business process automation tools and concepts.
- Experience working in and/or administering low-code platforms
- Experience managing work working within development platforms and environments.
- Demonstrated success at defining business needs conducting vendor analysis and launching successful products.
- Understanding of and experience with the software development life cycle and best practices
- Understand project management principles and processes.
Bonus Points:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in Product Management in a technology setting.
- Experience with Formstack, Microsoft Power Platform, and/or Smartsheet.
- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO).
