Position Overview

As the NOA (Notice of Assignment) Advisor, you will promote consistent company standards across all Districts and Projects to ensure our employees are provided fair and consistent transfer benefits. 
The KBS Field Support team provides the front-end support for all departments within Kiewit Business Services. Field Support is part of the Organizational Services Department.

District Overview

Kiewit Business Services (KBS) is a cross-functional shared service organization that provides the business units with customer-specific services focused on cost and business value. Our services 
include non-core, yet essential, functions of our businesses including accounts payable, accounts receivable, change control, human capital management, payroll, project initiation, compliance and continuous improvement.

Location

This position will be based out of our Kiewit office in LaVista, NE. 

Responsibilities

  • Advise, guide and support the District and Projects Key Contact with all matters relating to creating NOA’s for transfers, per diems and relocations.
  • Execute system actions to update personnel records and organizational structure in SAP.
  • Adhere to the SLA’s for various steps of the NOA process including timely creation of tasks for other internal groups.
  • Partner with the project/district business personnel & HRBPs on development of NOA Templates. Review and update templates as needed.
  • Develop effective relationships and communicate frequently with internal and external partners across the organization to promote positive interactions.
  • Conduct training of the ServiceNow platform to internal customers and educate users on the requirement of the correct org structure.
  • Strategize with internal customers who are working outside of the process or having difficulties with the process to educate them and improve the process flow.
  • Partner with the Move Services Relocation Advisors to assist with any relocations as requested.
  • Other duties assigned.

Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of computers and experience in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; clearly conveys messages and ideas, gains understanding; generates interest and holds attention, listens and is open to the ideas of others.
  • Highly motivated and self-directed; initiative and a sense of urgency to get things done.
  • Attention to detail with ability to recognize discrepancies.
  • Excellent analytical, math and organization skills.
  • Ability to understand and follow process and controls.
  • Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy with minimal supervision in a fast paced, high-volume environment. 
  • Ability to develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish assigned work.
  • Excellent customer service and collaboration skills; ability to connect and build relationships with others inside and outside the organization.
  • Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy with minimal supervision in a high-volume environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • College Degree in business or related field
  • Previous SAP experience
  • Prior work experience in a shared services environment
