Position Overview

This position is a Software Quality Assurance role and performs complex testing tasks requiring planning, oversight, and coordination with Project Teams. Working within a delivery team, the QA Analyst communicates with the Product Owners, Developers, Business Analysts and Project Managers to report software defects found in various products and manage resolution prior to go live.

Location

This is a hybrid position that is based out of our office at 8900 Renner Blvd, Lenexa KS.

Responsibilities

•    Defines test objectives, creates test plans, and develops manual test strategies
•    Experience planning, writing, and executing test cases based on requirements
•    Communicates test status clearly to Management
•    Participates actively and influences Quality on assigned teams
•    Follows guidelines for Testing, Release Management, Change Management and Software Development
•    Responsible for recognizing and creating awareness of process or Quality problems.
•    Review business requirements, analyze functional system changes and integration points
•    Execute functional, Integration and regression testing
•    Identify and record bug
•    Provide support and retesting during User Acceptance Testing
•    Work collaboratively with Agile/Project Teams
•    Keep up to date with standards and requirements of software quality assurance best practices

Qualifications

•    Minimum of 3-5 years of practical manual software testing experience with Client/Server, SAP, or .Net applications
•    Knowledge and experience with standard testing toolsets, specifically Azure Dev-Ops
•    Experience working in Agile teams
•    HTML and SQL knowledge is a plus
•    Experience with API testing
•    Highly detail-oriented and comfortable with calculation-intensive activities
•    Solid experience with functional, integration and regression testing.
•    Knowledge of test automation concepts and frameworks are helpful
•    Proven written/verbal communication skills.
•    Excellent problem solving/troubleshooting skills.
•    B.S. in Computer Science or related field OR equivalent experience
