Position Overview

As the Manager of Data Integration, you will direct, oversee and support the team in their efforts to deliver data and reporting solutions aligned to project, departmental, and divisional needs.  A successful candidate must excel in team leadership, have a high attention to detail, and time management skills to lead the team to consistently meet expected deadlines.   Additionally, the Manager of Data Integration needs to a capable communicator, adept at managing multiple responsibilities and able to work collaboratively with business partners at all levels of the organization.

Location

This position is hybrid and will be based out of our Omaha, Nebraska office. This is a shared service center in a professional office setting. 

Responsibilities

  • Development of data pipelines using Informatica, Snowflake, SQL Server, Azure Data Lake, Azure Databricks with focus area on data integration.
  • Manage a team of data engineering professionals in delivering quality solutions on time, on budget, and with high customer satisfaction.
  • Organization and delegation of assignments to team members
  • Ensure that process and procedures for solution delivery are in place and enforced
  • Emphasize the quality of changes to systems are viewed holistically with the intent to protect the integrity of the platform
  • Engage, collaborate, and partner with different functional leaders, technical leaders, and executive partners
  • Empower members of the team to grow their skillset with focus on career goal progression

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in technology field or equivalent experience
  • Years of experience: 5+ years in database development/SQL
  • Experience with various data platforms: SQL Server, Snowflake, Azure Data Lake, Teradata
  • Proven ability to understand complex business rules and processes and then build data solutions to surface that information in support of enterprise analytics and self-service use.
  • Good understanding of change control principles
  • Strong project management skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and time management skills
  • Expert in communicating both verbal and written technical or business content
  • Consistently demonstrates the ability to successfully negotiate conflict
  • Consistently demonstrates critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
  • Good knowledge of data management and data security fundamentals
  • Demonstrated ability to manage, develop and motivate a team
