Position Overview

The Knowledge Management & Platform Content Analyst is responsible for oversight of platform content, its management and deployment via ServiceNow.  The Knowledge Management & Platform Content Analyst with work closely with the ServiceNow Platform Manager to ensure all content aligns with the strategic vision of Kiewit Service Delivery through platform oversite and governance.  The ideal candidate should have a proven ability of designing, development, and implementation of content across multiple channels.

This position will be based out of our Kiewit Business Center at 12720 I Street Omaha, NE.  This is a shared service center in a professional office setting. This position offers a hybrid work schedule


  • Collaborate with ServiceNow Platform Manager to plan and develop overall platform content strategy
  • Guide and update knowledge management strategy by identifying gaps and implementing improvements related to our knowledge base, tooling, and documentation
  • Interact and collaborate with appropriate Subject Matter Experts from various departments for content strategy and maintenance
  • Coordinate with Shared Services business analysts to determine campaign content calendar
  • Lead trainings for internal platform users on knowledge practices and content strategy
  • Provide training for external platform on platform content and best practices how to use the platform most effectively
  • Design, implement, and monitor metrics to measure the effectiveness of knowledge management initiatives and targeted content
  • Communicate knowledge management & platform content initiatives and facilitate feedback from stakeholders


  • Excellent writing, interpersonal, and oral communication skills. Proven ability to write, edit, and organize content in a clear concise, and well-organized manner
  • Experience with Knowledge Base Management and information architecture
  • Proven project management and prioritization skills
  • Experience with Shared Services support models and systems
  • Self-starter with ability to work in a fast-paced environment bringing new ideas and concepts to the business
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team-oriented environment
  • Ability to multi-task and work separate projects in a fast paces & dynamic environment
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, business, communications or related field
  • At least 2 years’ experience in knowledge management, technical writing, or communications preferred
