Position Overview

The TG Analyst, IT Financial Management, Software position will play a key role in managing the enterprise software portfolio’s activities. This person will track, maintain, and coordinate the license, entitlement and maintenance agreement renewals and procurements. This person will assist as needed with software vendor contracts. This person will also work with business users to understand requirements, challenges and develop relationships with other KTG departments and suppliers.

Responsibilities

•    Analyze large volume of software entitlement and deployment data (primarily focused on engineering tools).
•    Conduct and report software asset reconciliation and audit activities on a timely basis, including financial, licensing, warranty, and maintenance/support contract information.
•    Collect information for software compliance, inventory, and contract summaries.
•    Analyze software renewals for savings opportunities, work with internal teams to vet changes.
•    Upload contracts and license information in company contract management and software asset management systems for purchase and renewal events.
•    Make use of Kiewit’s vendor and financial management systems for invoice lookup, payment, and vendor troubleshooting.
•    Use Software Asset Management tool for compliance and usage information for reporting needs
•    Maintain 30–180-day outlook for upcoming maintenance/contract/savings activities.
•    Communicate across teams in Kiewit Technology Group, Home Office and Districts regarding software and hardware renewal events, approvals, and data collection.
•    Enter and maintain information in a database format to record contract key dates and details, descriptions, ownership, and sourcing entities.
•    Respond to requests from end users, managers, Product Owners, and team members for software data information.
•    Track and ensure notice periods are adhered to for changes and cancellations. 
•    Track, maintain, and coordinate license and maintenance agreement renewals and procurements, including securing and documenting the required approvals. 
•    Work tickets in KTG’s ticketing system (ServiceNow).
•    Submit purchase requisitions and follow through to Purchase Orders and payment confirmations.
•    Submit paperwork for vendor creations.
 

Qualifications

•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•    Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, IT, or a related field or minimum three (3) years’ experience in Business, Finance, IT, or software asset management related field such as: Computer Science, Business, Technical, Education, Finance,       Business/Administration, Information Technology, Management, Information Systems, Engineering
•    Knowledge of principles and processes of contracts and software lifecycle and its application to business issues and service support models.
•    Build and manage complex licensing models and optimize our license usage based on key license drivers (headcount, volume)
•    Experience in working as part of a professional team to establish a productive and supportive working environment, ensuring effective communication and consultation with colleagues 
•    Licenses such as: licenses or certifications required by the position: ITIL, CSAM, IAITAM, CISA, ITAM, CISSP, SAM, ISO, HAM, SW is beneficial 
•    Interest in leveraging data to solve unique and challenging business problems

Technical Skills
•    MS Office tools knowledge, with Excel knowledge/experience required 
•    Engineering industry software tools knowledge preferred
•    Experience with Data Visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) preferred
•    SAP experience preferred
