Innovation Analyst - Kiewit Technology Group

Position Overview

The Innovation Analyst plays a critical role for Kiewit’s technology innovation program. This role will work closely with our Innovation Product Owners, Leads, and our Innovation Center Manager to help execute work across multiple streams on the Innovation team. The incumbent will report to the Manager of Innovation and play a key role in developing innovation projects, running experiments, and building our innovation center content.

Kiewit Technology Group’s (KTG) mission is to deliver project schedule and cost certainty by employing technology designed by and for the construction industry. Our team deploys apps to the field that increase profitability by maximizing the way we use our people and resources in daily operations. KTG uses the Kiewit Management System (KMS), which includes systems and tools that manage every part of Kiewit’s business and lifecycle of a project, to improve planning and day-to-day execution in the field by giving our people real-time data to make faster, smarter decisions. Location

This position will be based out of our Kiewit Business Center at 12720 I Street. This is a shared service center in a professional office setting. 

Responsibilities

•    Assist in developing and continuously improving our Enterprise System for Digital Innovation
•    Operate within defined process for Innovation and hold others in the program accountable to doing the same
•    Takes direction from the Innovation lead; responsible for communication, status, and execution of work assigned
•    Assist in the development and execution of innovation projects and experiments
•    Document the output of experiments including critical data, detailed analysis, executive summary, and marketing material
•    Participate in innovation workshops to vet problems and brainstorm solutions
•    Participate in innovation projects as determined and prioritized by Innovation Leads in conjunction with the Innovation Manager
•    Assist in Innovation projects through market research, ideation, solutioning and user-centric validation
•    Contribute to software development teams by writing stories, acceptance criteria, and working as a liaison between the development team business stakeholders
•    Work with the Innovation Center team to write stories, build displays, and give tours of our Innovation Center
•    Collaborate with other Kiewit Departments to gather and communicate innovation stories

•    Experience working in the scrum framework
•    Effective verbal and written communicator
•    Ability to document and communicate complex concepts effectively to a diverse group of stakeholders
•    History of working on new teams and ability to define their inputs and outputs to meet customer needs 
•    Ability to work with a wide range of personalities and team members
•    Excellent Problem-solving skills
•    Bachelor’s degree or higher or equivalent experience 
•    Spanish and/or French language proficiency a plus
•    Ability to Travel up to 25% of the time
