Position Overview

An effective Identity & Access Management Platform Owner will have a broad range of technical knowledge and will deliver, oversee, document, and enforce architectures across multiple platforms and projects, as well as consultative technical leadership across the organization, from strategic decision making to project planning to architectural governance and oversight. This position will work closely with others to grow their base of knowledge, but also share their knowledge with the business and IT teams via collaborative meetings, documentation, and formal presentations.

Create the technical approach for the shared operational capabilities of identity and access management, including customer registration, self-service, authentication, authorization, administration, audit, and reporting.

Work closely with IAM Architect, Solution Architecture, Data Center Operations, Information Security, Integration Services, and Development groups development teams to ensure that the vision, strategy, and roadmap for IAM are aligned with the broader Kiewit architectures and roadmaps

This position will be based out of our Kiewit Business Center at 12720 I Street. This is a shared service center in a professional office setting.


  • Collaborate with the Identity Architect to develop the IAM vision & strategy
  • Works to create solutions based on not only overall business needs, but for specific projects and integrates those solutions with the overall business solutions
  • Works with Identity leadership from across technology and business divisions to align with the overall identity strategy
  • Collaborate with Identity and Cyber leaders to define architecture by analyzing requirements
  • Work with Cloud Engineers to review and validate understanding of solution requirements and translate initial scope into technical deliverables
  • Define governance process and develop tools for managing cloud IAM inventory and entitlement review
  • Assess the current Identity solutions and integration with standard enterprise identity platforms and recommend new approaches
  • Research and publish implementable cloud IAM architecture patterns and solutions
  • Provide coaching, guidance, and direction on IAM projects, ensuring overall fit with enterprise architecture direction.
  • Ensure API integrations are authenticated by the identity management platform
  • Ability to gather requirements, collaborate and problem solve across various teams
  • Ability to build business relationships, processes, and roadmaps
  • Provides timely feedback on project progress along with communicating any roadblocks, issues, risks


  • Bachelor’s Degree 
  • At least 5 years of experience with Identity and Access Management technology
  • At least 5 years of experience integrating security controls with DevOps processes
  • Familiarity with how identity constructs within SAP (HCM, IDM, SuccessFactors, etc.), Azure AD, Active Directory and AWS
  • Understanding of SAML, SCIM, RBAC, ABAC and other identity specific concepts common in the industry
  • Experience with Identity Governance and Access Management tooling
  • Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders throughout the Kiewit Technology Group
  • Experience implementing IAM policies in a multi-account environment
  • Experience with privileged access management programs or tools
