Position Overview

We are seeking a customer service minded candidate with interest in Kiewit's Employee Experience program. The candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment which requires strong attention to detail and responsiveness. This position requires a broad understanding of Human Resources processes and business acumen to provide valuable support to our business. You will work closely with HR centers of excellence (COE) team members and HR Business Partners to resolve problems and identify areas of ambiguity needing clarity or improvement. You will serve as a trusted advisor and consult with leaders in the organization, providing HR guidance as appropriate.

District Overview
HR Operations is an integral partner and service provider at Kiewit. In recent years, we have gone from decentralized HR groups to a unified, shared service team, with various HR Centers of Excellence. Our vision is to be a best-in-class international HR organization.
Location
This position is based out of Omaha, NE. This is a shared service center in a professional office setting.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities could include:
• Collaborate with employees to complete the HR functional work for your respective business function.
• Support the organization with both transactional/tactical and strategic functions/actions.
• Ensure that HR provides extraordinary service and drives consistency and standards.
• Counsel the business to ensure high performing teams and a positive work environment.
• Ability to extract and analyze data to inform leaders and drive business decisions that create efficiencies for the business.
• Support onboarding process to ensure consistent messaging across the project.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, Communications, or related field
• 2 years of Human Resources experience, required
• Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for excellence and taking initiative
• Strong work ethic, willing to do what it takes to get the job done right the first time
• Demonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity
• Passion for safety, with the ability to help us ensure that nobody gets hurt
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Team player with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines, goals and objectives
• Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail
