Position Overview: The Governance, Risk and Compliance Analyst will provide technical expertise over the Kiewit Information Technology governance, risk and compliance program, with a focus on security and technology compliance through continuous audit and monitoring activities.  They will identify and responds to organizational information security risks and concerns, and develop, implement, and document improvements to correct deficiencies and mitigate risk. 

The successful candidate would be responsible for information security compliance and technology continuous monitoring and auditing.  This position works closely with the operational, technical, and corporate function personnel to foster a technology compliance management culture, challenge assumptions and to assist in communicating a holistic compliance profile of security and technology controls to Executive management and various stakeholders. The Governance, Risk & Compliance Analyst assists with oversight of compliance standards and corporate policies and various risk identification and remediation activities.

This role will interface with internal auditors, external auditors, and Legal for compliance initiatives, including providing requested audit inputs, outputs and overall audit project management activities. This position will be part of the team responsible for establishing and maintaining an enterprise Information Security Governance, Risk and Compliance vision, strategy and program.

Responsibilities:
• Assists in planning and conducting continuous audit and monitoring functions designated by the Information Security Teams
• Assist in the assessment of key risks and controls
• Selects and applies the appropriate tools and techniques to data gathering, analysis and interpretation, and reporting for various audit and assessment activities specific to information security and technology
• Develops workpapers reflecting audit and assessment activities performed and obtains reliable and sufficient evidence supporting conclusions
• Assists with the development and validation of remediation plans for technology deficiencies
• Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors throughout compliance engagements
• Appropriately applies knowledge of the business, industry, and the risk (business and technology) and control environment in compliance work and decision making
• Identifies improvement opportunities for the business based on understanding and analysis of the process flows for business operations
• Communicates issues through the reporting that clearly identify root cause and impact to the organization
• Follows up with management to ensure that management actions have been effectively implemented
• Monitors internal and external business, regulatory and technology environment to identify new or emerging risks and verify remediation of issues
• Assists in collecting and analyze training metrics to identify training gaps
• Assists in providing oversight and coordination of information security and awareness course development, instruction and evaluation activities
• Assists in developing, disseminate, and present a comprehensive security education and awareness program and training materials that provide blended learning opportunities
• Provides analytical support to key stakeholders regarding GRC metrics, reporting, and special projects
• Stay current on security industry trends, relevant compliance requirements, and security best practices by attending conferences, networking with peers, and other educational opportunities

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher strongly preferred with experience in IT Audit or Security Audit, internal or Big 4
• CISA certification is highly desirable
• Must have and maintain or be able to obtain within 6 months of employment at least one of the following certification: CISSP, CISA, CRISC or equivalent designation.
• Demonstrate solid knowledge on technology processes, risks and issues including within infrastructure, information security, SDLC and Enterprise Service Management utilizing various IT controls frameworks
• Capable of identifying, evaluating and mitigating significant risks within an enterprise
• Strong working experience with Microsoft Office Suite and RSA Archer
• Possess strong influencing, negotiating, and relationship building skill
• Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to work well with people from many different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience
• Possess strong analytical skills attention to detail
• Must be able to work independently and have excellent verbal and written communications skills
