Are you a recent graduate or someone looking to start your career in content development? The Entry-Level Content Developer is a great opportunity to begin your professional journey! In this role, you'll work closely with subject matter experts and content creators to help develop effective training programs that enhance the educational experience.
You'll assist in creating instructional materials and visuals for both live and online training sessions, learning to align with established style guidelines for clear communication. This is a hands-on role where you'll use technology to help produce engaging written content and multimedia scripts, while also participating in the iterative design process to update and refine course materials.
We value accessibility, and you'll play a part in ensuring that learning resources are readily available for all learners. Strong time management skills will be important as you assist in completing projects on time and within budget.

Location

This position is based out of our Headquarters in Omaha, NE. This is a shared service center in a professional office setting.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Experts: Assist experienced professionals and content creators in designing educational programs that are relevant and applicable to everyday work scenarios.

Create Educational Materials: Help develop instructional materials and visuals that support learning objectives for both live and online training sessions.

Design Elements: Follow established style guidelines to design basic elements such as colors, images, and fonts that effectively communicate key messages.

Utilize Technology: Use various tools to help create engaging written content and multimedia scripts that guide instructors and participants.

Participate in Improvements: Contribute to the iterative design process by assisting in updating and enhancing course materials to ensure quality and accuracy.

Enhance Accessibility: Help make learning resources more accessible using technology, providing support to learners in a timely manner.

Projects: Assist in managing time effectively to ensure projects are completed on schedule.
 

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong vocabulary, grammar, and punctuation skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with team members and supervisors.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.
  • Ability to develop basic technical graphics, such as diagrams or illustrations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Graphic Design, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Familiarity with instructional design, graphic development, or writing/communication.    
  • Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Affinity, CorelDRAW) is a plus.
