Position Overview

Business Analyst is the bridge between process and technology and supports Product Development by translating business needs into clear, testable requirements that are used by our Vendor, InEight, to create a quality product for our end-users. This role works specifically with the InEight Compliance product, which tracks Environmental, Safety and Compliance standards in the field

Location

This is a hybrid position that is based out of our office at 12720 I Street, Omaha NE 68137                          

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the InEight Core/Integration Business Analyst
  • Assist with defining the various Integration product roadmap items
  • Work with the Product Owner and Manager to develop a long-term strategy for integrations inclusive of cost, technology and the full life-cycle roadmap
  • Be aware-of and versed-in all third-party product functionality supported by the respective product area
  • Be aware-of and versed-in APIs and integration strategy
  • Continuously update integration technical mappings and functional documentation
  • Serve as the point-of-contact with third-party software product owners or functional super users.
  • Work cross-functionally with other product teams to ensure decisions are in alignment with the overall portfolio strategy
  • Display first-rate customer service skills – willing to help with a positive attitude when/where needed
  • Partner and gain buy-in with stakeholders and users to create better cohesion and clear communication throughout the organization
  • Work with third-party software vendor’s Product Owner and Product Manager to translate requirements into features and user stories (backlog) for a product release
  • Understand current business problems and opportunities and convey the needed information to Product and Support teams to drive solutions
  • Understands product adoption measurements and partners with Product Manager to drive a plan to address adoption constraints
  • Serve as a product spokesperson at meetings and events involving internal company stakeholders

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2+ years of work with integrations preferred, or 2+ years of business analyst experience
  • Working knowledge of standard API usage – preferred
  • Working knowledge of SQL - preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information systems – preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to synthesize and articulate complex concepts targeted at multiple audiences
  • Experience working with geographically dispersed teams
  • Willingness to travel approximately 10%-25%
