Position Overview

As a Subcontract Admin you will manage and assist with the contract approval and change order process, coordinate and maintain documentation and maintain procurement relationship with subcontractor.

Kiewit Building Group specializes in vertical construction, we build office buildings, industrial complexes, education and sports facilities, hotels, hospitals, transportation terminals, government buildings, science and technology facilities, retail and special-use facilities, and extensive interior construction with tenant improvements. Our capabilities include all facets of construction and engineering including: general contracting, construction management, design-build, design-assist and turn-key project development.

Responsibilities

•    Manage and assist with Subcontract and Subcontract Change Order processing and execution
•    Review and process insurance certifications
•    Review and process Bonds
•    Coordinate, develop and maintain documentation
•    Ensure procurement practices, transactions and documentation comply with Company policies and procedures, contract requirements, and Government regulations
•    Review and process procurement requisitions
•    Coordinate, develop and produce a wide range of procurement documentation
•    Interface and coordinate with subcontractor, intercompany, and internal department personnel
•    Maintain a filing system and is responsible for correspondence on contracts and procurement matters
•    Monitors current status of assigned contracts
•    Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested
 

Qualifications

•    Proficient in Microsoft Office (Power Point, Word, Excel) and have a general knowledge of database utilization. SAP Experience a plus
•    Detail-oriented, highly motivated with ability to effectively manage time
•    Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
•    Team player with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines, goals and objectives
•    Associates degree preferred
•    Valid Driver’s License
•    Flexibility in schedule – early/late as needed
•    Excellent customer service skills and a positive, can-do attitude
