Position Overview
As the Administrative Assistant, you will support the Vice President of Environmental and the district environmental team with keeping program documents up-to-date, preparing meeting and training materials, coordinating team efforts, and performing administrative duties as assigned.
The successful candidate will be a capable writer and communicator, fast learner, adept at managing multiple responsibilities and able to work collaboratively with business partners at all levels of the organization. High attention to detail and time management skills to consistently meet deadlines is critical.

Location
This position is located at 1550 Mike Fahey Street. Connected to Kiewit University, the new Kiewit Plaza provides a modern, state-of-the-art venue in the emerging Builders’ District north of downtown Omaha.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate meetings and trainings
- Composes, types and issues routine correspondence
- Coordinate newsletters
- Type notes and create documentation
- Arrange travel for the Vice President and handle expense reports
- Answer the Vice President’s phone and relays messages in a timely manner
- Manage, develop and administrate department SharePoint sites
- Run budget reports
- Process invoices
- Organize and maintain filing system (electronic and paper files) as needed to support office functions
- Order promos and recognition awards
- Performs other tasks and duties required for this position.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of executive support experience
- Must be organized. This includes time management, being task-orientated, and setting and meeting deadlines.
- Microsoft Office proficiency including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
- Must have strong strategic skills for planning
- Good attention to detail, with the ability to recognize discrepancies
- Sound judgment, courtesy, tact and diplomacy is a must
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred

- Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to establish credibility as a strong performer and ability to work effectively with people at all levels of Kiewit
