TIC is a Kiewit Subsidiary that provides direct-hire construction services for industrial projects. TIC Denver has projects in Power, Industrial Manufacturing, Oil Gas Chemical, and Mining across the United States with the district office located in Denver, CO. Its projects range from small capital work up to major EPC projects. We are looking for people committed to the construction industry and not design as this is an “open-shop” environment. 

 

Location 
We have projects across the United States and Canada, in large cities and small towns, so our people must be willing to go where the work is.  Job assignment location will be determined closer to your start date.  Must be able to travel and relocate as business requires.

 

Primary Responsibilities
•    Assist in planning, organizing and implementing TIC Denver's district Safety Management Programs at industrial construction projects.
•    Conduct safety training, job safety analysis, workplace audits and incident response as needed.
•    Embody the Kiewit approach to safety, being constantly aware of conditions and work practices, being empowered to stop all unsafe work when needed.

Qualifications
•    Construction safety training (Certification preferred) plus two or more years’ construction safety experience related to piping, electrical and heavy industrial commissioning
•    Ability to work in outdoor work environment and around related equipment.
•    Initial position will be on contract; Prefer ability and willingness to consider conversion to full time regular status and ability and willingness to relocate to project sites across the USA and/or Canada for an extended period of time.

Working Conditions
•    Fast-paced project site and project office environment; Working outdoors in varying ambient temperatures. Must be able to interact professionally with all levels of craft, staff and management while simultaneously managing a diversified workload and challenging situations efficiently and effectively; regularly sit, stand, walk and talk and listen; occasionally lift and move up objects up to 30 pounds.
