Position Overview

Kiewit Infrastructure Engineers are seeking a Project Controls Department Coordinator with specific responsibility for supporting the project controls department in our Colorado office. We are looking for the ideal candidate to be detail oriented and customer service oriented.  The candidate must be eager to contribute in multiple facets of the department.

 

District Overview

Kiewit Infrastructure Engineering's Design Build Management team are driving clients to turn to Kiewit during all stages of design-build projects to manage their multi-disciplined design teams to improve schedule, control costs and minimize risk. Our construction-driven engineers analyze root causes and resolve design issues before they impact schedule and budget. Particularly on large design-build projects, clients benefit from the proven processes and tools used by Kiewit to minimize project risk. We are an in-house resource that supports projects throughout the company. Our staff shares experiences gained, innovative concepts, and design best practices for all projects that we support.

Location

This position is based out of our Lone Tree, Co Offices. 

Responsibilities

  • Manage designated department metrics
  • Manage department document control
  • Oversee and maintain Sharepoint sites
  • Manage and maintain org charts
  • Prepare, collect, and analyze reports and information as needed
  • Coordinate and arrange meetings to include agenda preparation, presentations, meeting invitations, and reserving and preparing facilities and resources
  • Take notes and prepare meeting minutes and action items for selected meetings and workshops
  • Maintain contact lists and calendars
  • Assist with new hire orientation
  • Maintains departmental staff databases
  • Provide support to department leaders
  • Arrange and coordinate travel schedules and reservations
  • Maintain a working knowledge of standard software/technology
  • Assist with and/or arrange conference calls
  • Greet scheduled visitors and direct them to appropriate area or person
  • Assist managers with planning and scheduling of activities
  • Assist with other duties and special projects as assigned

Qualifications

Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and comfortable presenting
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Proficient user of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Share Point, Visio and external user sites, experience with Smartsheet and Bluebeam preferred but not required
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
• Ability to work well with others in all capacities within the company
• Must be customer service oriented
• Strong work ethic, willing to do what it takes to get the job done right the first time

Base Compensation: $37,765  - $56,647 
(Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and/or location)
