Position Overview

Kiewit is now hiring a Digital Design Coordinator!  This role is located in Lone Tree, CO, with the opportunity for flexible work.  You will be involved in all phases of the proposal, design, construction, and operation maintenance phases of a contract.


The Digital Design Coordinator is responsible for developing the Digital Engineering Project Execution Plan (PXP) that clearly defines the use cases, level of detail/development, responsibility, software requirements and uses, schedule, and budget necessary for the defined scope of each project. As a coordinator you will work with all disciplines on drawing layout, submittal review, and delivery. This also requires working with CAD management teams to ensure standards and practices are followed per district/job requirements.

This position is located in our Lone Tree, CO office.  Opportunities for flexible work are available.


•    Create and maintain PXP.
•    Provide technical knowledge and guidance for standards and design to less experienced designers.
•    Manage several different assignments simultaneously.
•    Act as field resource to assist construction in the field on medium to complex issues.
•    Create innovative working methods to generate new ideas and best cost solutions.
•    Continuously look for ways to improve communication between design disciplines.
•    Identifies changes in scope of work during large projects and coordinates drawing changes as needed to stay within budget and schedule.
•    Travel < 25% expected.


•    Associate degree or High School diploma + 5-10 years minimum relevant experience.
•    Clear communication skills a requirement
•    Understanding of Design Build contracts
•    Multi design discipline experience
•    Advanced skills in AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D
•    CAD production management experience is a plus
•    Ability to act independently to determine methods and processes for assignments.

Base Compensation: $85,555 - $128,333 
(Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and/or location)
