Technology Solutions Manager, KIE - Kiewit Technology Group

Position Overview

The OTS Technology Solutions Manager leads a team comprised of some of the industry’s best technology professionals supporting Kiewit’s rapidly growing Infrastructure Engineering business.  This team is primarily focused on enabling project and user success through the administration, configuration and customization of platforms such as Bentley’s ProjectWise, OpenRoads, Microstation, Autodesk’s AutoCAD and Civil 3D, and most other commonly used platforms in the Infrastructure Market. This position oversees every aspect of the team’s operations in supporting the Infrastructure Engineering business.

Location

This position will be based out of our Kiewit office in Lone Tree, CO,  Omaha, NE,  Lenexa, KS or Houston, TX.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance relationships with key technology providers such as Bentley and Autodesk
• Identify and implement optimal work processes that maximize the value of Kiewit’s Infrastructure technology stack
• Meet with project execution teams to identify issues and opportunities
• Meet with Engineering Discipline Leadership to identify issues and opportunities
• Develop solutions that resolve common day-to-day issues strategically to deliver continual improvement and value to the business
• Manage day-to-day operations including planning, prioritization and execution
• Manage, coach and mentor team members
• Manage services and software purchase/maintenance budget

Qualifications

• A minimum of 10 years experience desired including current experience managing a technology team
• Ability to communicate effectively with senior management and other departments
• Proficient using Microsoft Suite and other data entry software
• Relevant infrastructure engineering and/or construction industry execution experience is desired
• Previous experience leading teams of developers/SMEs for engineering and design platforms such as ProjectWise, OpenRoads, and Civil3D is desired
• Fast learner with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Highly motivated and self-directed with strong communication skills
• Conceptual thinker and able to work with complex systems
• Goal oriented and proficient at managing teams to achieve assigned objectives
