Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Site Designer with strong experience in grading and drainage design to join our team. The candidate will be an expert in OpenRoads, Bentley Inroads, MicroStation, and Civil 3D modeling, and will play a key role in designing and developing civil site plans for a variety of infrastructure and land development projects.

Location
This position is based in our Lone Tree, CO office. However, remote work eligibility may be considered for candidates located within 75 to 100 miles of the office, depending on the individual's qualifications, experience, and ability to collaborate effectively with the team.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed site designs including grading, drainage, and utility layouts.
- Create and manage 3D models using OpenRoads, Inroads and MicroStation.
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure design accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare construction documents, plans, and specifications.
- Conduct site analysis and support permitting processes.
- Ensure designs meet applicable codes, standards, and client requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in civil site design, with a strong focus on grading and drainage.
- Expert-level proficiency in OpenRoads, Bentley Inroads, MicroStation, and 3D design tools.
- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and civil site development practices.
- Experience with plants, environmental and roadway projects.
- Familiarity with stormwater modeling software.
- Knowledge of CAD standards and file management systems.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Base Compensation: $133,000/yr - $145,000
(Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and/or location)
