Position Overview

Kiewit Infrastructure Engineers are seeking a Pursuits Coordinator with specific responsibility for supporting our contracts and proposal department for KIE. We are looking for the ideal candidate to be detail and customer service oriented.  The candidate must be eager to contribute in multiple facets of the departments.

District Overview

Kiewit Infrastructure Engineering's Design Build Management team are driving clients to turn to Kiewit during all stages of design-build projects to manage their multi-disciplined design teams to improve schedule, control costs and minimize risk. Our construction-driven engineers analyze root causes and resolve design issues before they impact schedule and budget. Particularly on large design-build projects, clients benefit from the proven processes and tools used by Kiewit to minimize project risk. We are an in-house resource that supports projects throughout the company. Our staff shares experiences gained, innovative concepts, and design best practices for all projects that we support.

This position is based out of our Lone Tree, CO offices 


  • Identify and coordinate responses to client requirements  (RFQ, RFP, etc)
  • Develop compliance matrix for forms to determine pursuit requirements (i.e. forms, legal, financial, etc.)
  • Prepare/Review documents with appropriate response content
  • Maintain database of information on tracking spreadsheets
  • Deconstruct forms and establish database of past forms / prequalification applications
  • Prioritize applications based on needs per proposals calendar for professional orgs and state entities
  • Coordinate with Proposal Manager on overall production schedule to ensure all documents are submitted timely
  • Work collaboratively with Proposal Manger and Contracts Manger to understand pursuit and teaming arrangements (subs, DBEs, JV partners) and help drive collaboration with Contracts and Proposals
  • Develop appropriate network within the company to facilitate identification and sharing of relevant information, best practices etc. between offices
  • Collaborate with Kiewit Legal, FinForm, Financial Group, Districts, gain knowledge of KIE and other districts
  • Ensure that appropriate QC, reviews and approval(s) are obtained for all content and deliverables
  • Review clarification responses to addendum, and point of contact for teaming partners and collection materials
  • Oversee the maintenance of database of standard prequalification information for their district
  • Assist with additional contracts administration as needed
  • Maintain up-to-date new hire training, organizational charts and matrix of authorities for the group
  • Maintain internal MSA smartsheets & draft new MSAs
  • Establish & Organize monthly/quarterly review and social meetings for contracts dept.


  • Bachelors degree in Marketing/Communications, finance, Construction Management or equivalent preferred
  • Advanced skills and experience working with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat and with proficiency in database applications and management required
  • Excellent writing, editing, proofreading and formatting skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to quality, meticulous attention to detail and consistency in work product
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, including the Ability to keep track of the “big picture,” but also maintain focus on the details to ensure quality
  • Energetic, self-motivated, team-oriented, and able to adjust to work well with other professionals from various backgrounds
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to be flexible, as work deadlines flow through
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills to interact with all levels of management both inside and outside the organization

Base Compensation: $66,237 - $99,355 
(Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and/or location)
