Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Proposal Specialist to join our team.  This is an exciting opportunity to gain strategic insight into our company and business development processes as a part of our expanding proposals and marketing group.



District Overview

The Kiewit Infrastructure marketing, creative, and proposal team provides get-work services to multiple markets including transportation, aviation, buildings, and more.  We focus on winning work with high-quality, client-focused sales strategies through creative communication techniques. Our team brings vast experience and expertise to all projects we support across the company. 

Location

Lone Tree, CO.  This is a shared service environment in a professional office setting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate responses to client prequalification’s, statements of interest, requests for information, etc. 
• Review client documents to determine appropriate response content.
• Coordinate responses to client annual surveys
• Maintain information on client supplier websites
• Develops appropriate network within the company to facilitate identification and sharing of relevant information, best practices etc. between offices
• Ensure that appropriate QC, reviews and approval(s) are obtained for all content and deliverables
• Maintain database of standard prequalification information for their district
• Assist with proposals as needed, including packaging and submittal

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Marketing, English, Communications, or related field
• Advanced skills and experience working with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat and with proficiency in database applications and management required
• Excellent writing, editing, proofreading and formatting skills
• Demonstrated commitment to quality, meticulous attention to detail and consistency in work product
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, including the Ability to keep track of the “big picture,” but also maintain focus on the details to ensure quality
• Enthusiastic, self-motivated, team-oriented, and able to adjust to work well with other professionals from various backgrounds
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to be flexible, as work deadlines are client-driven and require some extended work hours or work days
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills to interact with all levels

•    Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment
•    Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies.
•    Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required.

 

Base Compensation: $60,000/yr - $90,000/yr 
(Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and/or location)
