Position Overview
Kiewit Infrastructure Engineers (KIE) is seeking a highly skilled GIS Analyst to join our growing GIS Department. In this role, you will support the GIS Lead by assisting with the development and implementation of GIS tools, processes, and deliverables throughout the design phase of our projects. Your technical expertise in project support, data management, and workflow automation will be key to ensuring GIS solutions are effectively developed and integrated into our project design workflows.

Location
This position is based out of our Lone Tree, CO Campus.
Responsibilities
• Support the KIE GIS Department, facilitating project and workflow support across multiple disciplines.
• Design, develop, and maintain GIS applications, projects, maps, and tools leveraging the Esri GIS platform.
• Provide project, team, and user level GIS support.
• Assist with the scope and development of new projects to ensure proper resourcing and effective communication.
• Ensure quality assurance and quality control for all GIS deliverables.
• Maintain geospatial databases, ensuring data integrity and security.
• Support GIS-CAD data interoperability and integration.
• Stay updated with the latest GIS technologies and best practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• 3+ years of professional GIS experience utilizing the ESRI suite of software: ArcGIS PRO and ArcGIS Online.
• Bachelor's or advanced degree in GIS, Engineering, Environmental Science, Computer Science, or a closely related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong understanding of foundational GIS principles and skills.
• Proficient in ArcGIS Pro.
• Proficient in ArcGIS Online and associated applications. (e.g. Experience Builder, Dashboards, Survey123, Field Maps)
• Beginner to intermediate proficiency in workflow automation using FME and/or Python.
• Working knowledge of GIS-CAD data interoperability and integration.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Ability to efficiently support multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring all timelines are met.
Preferred Qualifications
• Prior industry experience in construction, environmental, civil engineering, and/or power generation.
• Advanced proficiency in workflow automation using FME and/or Python.
• Experience with SQL and ETL processes for integrating and transforming large datasets.
• Experience with 3D GIS (ArcScene) or integrated tools to support 3D visualizations or models.
• Knowledge of integration workflows between Bentley, Autodesk, Trimble Business Center, QGIS, Google Earth, and other design platforms.
• Intermediate level of understanding of survey principles and practices. Particularly, grid to ground, coordinate systems, topographic surveys, etc.
• Experience working with ArcGIS Enterprise geodatabases and their administration.

Base Compensation: $73,000/yr - $76,000/yr
