Position Overview
We’re looking for a 3D Technical Visualization Artist with strong design, visualization, and communication skills to join our growing, in-house creative team. Our 3D team at Kiewit develops best-in-class client-facing visuals in collaboration with our proposal and engineering teams for Kiewit’s Building, Energy, Infrastructure, and Water markets. The ideal candidate approaches projects strategically, tactically, and efficiently to produce exceptional results. They have the ability to communicate ideas and set expectations directly with clients and are able to work independently as well as within a team. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of North America's leading contractors and collaborative with a growing creative community. The position is based out of the Kiewit Campus in Lone Tree, CO. The 3D Technical Visualization Artist will work closely with the creative, marketing, and proposals teams as well as senior design leads, project teams, and engineers to produce client-facing materials that win Kiewit work, while maintaining a consistent branded look across an array of marketing channels and work products.
District Overview
Kiewit Infrastructure Proposal Services (KIPS) is based in Lone Tree, Colorado, and provides best-in-class proposal support services to Kiewit Infrastructure and Engineering Districts. KIPS represents a shared services initiative for Kiewit Engineering Group and Kiewit Infrastructure Group, divisions of Kiewit Corporation.
Location
This position is based out of our Lone Tree, Colorado office.
Responsibilities
• Create strategic 3D visuals for proposals, project deliverables, and presentations including fully modeled project sites, arch/vis and equipment renderings, photo/video composites, maps/aerials, and VR
• Model 3D projects from various reference materials, including aerial imagery, CAD drawings, sketches, and photography
• Quickly and efficiently adopt new project workflows when working with multiple unique markets
• Ability to collaborate with graphic design, marketing, and technical leads by brainstorming and contributing design ideas to craft a larger, compelling story
• Effectively conceptualize and communicate design strategies and conduct project review sessions to guide and solidify direction, as well as align project expectations
• Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, working closely with the Creative team to effectively meet project deadlines and advance Kiewit's visualization edge
• Ensure compliance with company brand guidelines and design standards
• Meet any additional needs and requirements of the Tech Viz group
• Travel may be required up to 5%
Qualifications
• BA in fields related to Industrial, Architectural, or Engineering – other related fields and a combination of experience/education may be substituted
• 2+ years’ experience in at least two of the following: Lumion, Rhino, 3D Studio Max, TwinMotion, and Unreal Engine
• 2+ years’ experience in a similar role in a company within the AEC industry or comparable
• Ability to learn/work with multiple 3D platforms and software to improve efficiency and stay competitive
• Expert in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Premiere, and After Effects specifically)
• Advanced in Microsoft Office Suite
• Excel in a fast-paced and deadline-driven work environment
• Strong conceptual thinking and exceptional attention to detail, with a passion for solving complex problems
• Excellent verbal and written communication and coordination skills
• Motivated self-starter and team player
A portfolio containing 3D design is required to be considered for this position.

Base Compensation: $55,000 - $83,000
(Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and/or location)
